About Us

Bill E. Willhoit - Grew up in New Mexico and graduated from Colorado State University in 1970. He has practiced at Bijou Animal Hospital since 1971. He enjoys all aspects of medical and surgical practice. Free time fun includes photography, bicycling and outdoor activities.

Mark Colvin - A Colorado native who graduated from Colorado State University in 1982 and has practiced at Bijou Animal Hospital since 1984. He enjoys all facets of medicine and surgery. Endoscopy and ultrasound diagnostics are of special interest. Outside interests include sea kayaking, skiing and photography.

Karen Miller - A Colorado Springs native who graduated from Colorado State University in 1988. She has a long history with Bijou Animal Hospital — working here while still in high school, and returning after graduating from veterinary school. She enjoys medicine and the personal relationships she develops with her clients and their pets. Karen's favorite days are spent on horseback in the warm Colorado sun.

Lisa Bausch - A Kansas native who graduated from Kansas State University in 2004 and joined Bijou Animal Hospital soon after graduation. She loves living in Colorado Springs and meeting the seasoned clients of the practice, as well as building relationships with new clients. She enjoys all phases of medicine and surgery, as well as building new surgical skills. Lisa's outside interests include camping, fishing, and gardening.
