Ameera, is the hospital manager for Bijou animal Hospital. She has worked(or lack of) for Bijou since 2005. She came to us from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region from a very abusive home. Bijou repaired a broken jaw, broken leg and head injury. After recovering in a foster home, Bijou staff and clients knew that Ameera would make a great addition to our family and made Bijou her forever home. She was originally named Princess from the Humane Society but changed her name to Ameera (which means Princess in Arabic) when she came to Bijou.
She is most playful in the mornings and then usually lays around and gives orders the rest of the day. She has all of us trained and working efficiently. We can all agree that she is the best boss ever.

Her love of animals and compassionate care comes through in her work every day. She has a soft spot in her heart for all animals but cats are her true love( especially Burmese). If you want to meet Paulette bring a kitten to the office, she will be first in line to spread the love, or bring French fries, that's her second love! She shares her home with her Burmese, and her Schipperke, Cherub.
